Disco Bliss was established in 2002 by Kate McLoughlin, (formerly Top Katz Karaoke and Disco). Kate had previous Karaoke and Disco experience working from 1999 with Ladybirds Karaoke, but Kate decided to start up on her own and face the Karaoke and Disco world alone. Working 7 nights a week it was clear that Kate had a passion for the entertainment industry. Hosting Discos and Karaokes at palces such as “The Rat and Parrot” Surbiton, “The Coleherne” Earls Court, “Bar Zen” Kingston University, “The Kings Arms” Twickenham and “The Star” South Harrow to name but a few.

It was in 2005 that Nils Fearons came on board, bringing with him a wealth of Music Technology knowledge, previously a drummer in a band in his hometown of Barnsley. It soon became clear that the pair shared the same passion for music and in 2006 set up a second set of discs comprising solely of House music. It was at “The Local” South Harrow that the night ‘Stupidisco’ was born, a predominantly House night at which Nils played the Bongos and Congas whilst Kate spent the night on the decks. The night was a huge success.

Nils was then asked to appear playing the Congas at the launch of ‘Sucasa’, a House music record label a fantastic night at “Play Bar” Shorditch. Nils played a great set and ‘Sucasa’ continues to grow from strength to strength.

In 2007 Kate and Nils had a baby daughter, a mini Disco Diva in the making. They decided to take a break from the regular nights taking on only private parties from time to time. Which brings us to the present day. Kate and Nils have begun to build up bookings again, hosting regular nights at “The Old Kings Head” Hampton Wick and “The Red Lion” Feltham.
